What The Cue accesses. With your permission, The Cue reads your Google Calendar with read-only access. It looks only at event start times, end times, and your RSVP status, in order to decide when your light should glow. The Cue cannot create, edit, or delete events, and never will.
What we store. Your email address (to identify your account), an encrypted authorization token Google issues so we can check your calendar on your behalf, your device's preferences (colors, timing, brightness), and a short-lived cache of "minutes until your next meeting." We do not store your event titles beyond this one-minute cache, your attendees, descriptions, or any calendar content.
What we never do. We never sell or share your data. There is no advertising, no analytics resale, and no use of your calendar data for anything except operating your light.
Revoking access. You can disconnect The Cue at any time from your Google Account's security settings (myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party access). Your light will simply stop glowing until reconnected. You may also email us at support@cuelamp.com to delete your account and all stored data, and we will do so within 30 days.
Google API Services disclosure. The Cue's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Contact. Questions about this policy or your data? Email support@cuelamp.com.
