Why it exists
There's a church next to my office. It rings its bells every half hour.
Everyone inside started using the bells as a meeting reminder — a sound from the physical world cutting through the noise of the digital one. The Cue is that idea, shrunk down to a desk object: an ambient signal you notice without being interrupted, built for everyone who doesn't have a bell tower next door.
How it works
Breathe — meeting soon
Five minutes out (you choose), The Cue fades in with a slow, soft pulse. Enough to notice. Not enough to interrupt.
Sweep — it's time
When the meeting starts, a bright point sweeps around the ring. Unmissable in your peripheral vision — silently.
On air — do not disturb
While you're in the meeting, The Cue holds a steady glow — a "recording light" your household can see from across the room.
